TANDEM MET 100% THE NEW FIFTH VERSION OF THE INTERNATIONAL FOOD STANDARD

In the middle of January 2009 TANDEM officially received its second International Food Standard Certificate. The company received positive valuation for its factory production processes two months after the comprehensive survey by an auditor from the international auditing body ISACert with a headquarters in Holland. The event took part on 20 and 21 November.

TANDEM defended its 100% conformity with the international requirements. TANDEM asserted High Level in standard, as according IFS strict rules only producers with conformity with the criteria over 95% receive High Level.

The initial audit of TANDEM was completed in November 2007. Then the company was certified according the fourth version of the International Food Standard for safety and quality of food. The changes in the renovated version concern the increased number of knockout requirements, the observing of which is obligatory for each company, certified by IFS.

If last year TANDEM had to meet 4 such requirements, this year the company is immaculate according 10 knockout requirements, no less, as well as according all the 250 criteria for the best companies in the food, wine and tobacco branch.

The 100% covering of IFS High Level guarantees that TANDEM offers its customers quality and safety at a worldwide level, the same as of all the 9000 enterprises all over the world, having passed successfully auditor’s survey. TANDEM is among the first Bulgarian companies certified according ISF, having met all the criteria of ISO 9001, MVM Consult and ISO 22000.
